Hi, I’m Vicky.

I was born and raised in Dali, and I belong to the Bai ethnic minority — one of China’s 55 officially recognized minority groups. This is my home: indigo cloth drying in village courtyards, Erhai Lake changing with the light, and traditions that are still part of everyday life.

I started working in travel when I was eighteen. Ten years later, I still do this because I want people to meet the Yunnan I know — not a checklist of photo stops, but a place of living cultures, generous tables and people who welcome strangers as guests.

When you message, you reach me and my local team, not a call centre. I listen first, then shape a journey around your pace and what genuinely matters to you. This is not just a job to me. It is a place I love with everything.

Yes. Vicky’s guide team works across eight languages, subject to availability for your dates.

Can you support families, older travellers or dietary needs?
